- It is based on carotenoids and melanin, which neutralize free radicals and have an antioxidant effect.
Carotenoids are natural pigments found widely in the plant kingdom and are capable of imparting warm hues to living organisms that feed on plants. The carotenoids included in A NEW COLOR are obtained from carrots, have a strong antioxidant effect, and in combination with melanin, which is part of the cream paint, and vitamin C, present in the cream base, forms a compound with super strong anti-radical properties.
Melanin is a plant pigment extracted from the date palm. It has a pronounced antioxidant and anti-radical action. Works in synergy with the carotenoids found in the color and with the vitamin C found in the cream base. Cornstarch is a naturally occurring active substance used to thicken hair and as a natural antistatic agent.
Monoethanolamine (MEA) is a liquid substance, easily soluble in water and biodegradable. Creates an alkaline environment necessary to open the hair cuticle and promotes the release of oxygen from hydrogen peroxide and activates the polymerization reaction. MEA works in synergy with sodium metasilicate, a natural alkaline substance found in the cream base.
