Silicone Sealant Sealant ABRO 999 is specially designed for the repair of gaskets in engines of Japanese cars, but can also be used in engines produced in the USA and Europe. Ideal for replacing gaskets in the gearbox housing cover, thermostat housing, intake manifold, crankcase pans, water pumps. Do not collapse under the influence of automobile fluids (except for gasoline).
How to use the sealant:
- Remove fragments of old gasket and thoroughly clean the surface.
- Remove the cap, pierce the protective foil and screw on the supplied nozzle. Cut off the tip of the nozzle so as to create a hole of the required size.
- Apply around the perimeter of the entire mating surface (preferably only on the lid itself), forming a layer 2-3 mm thick. Leave the holes for the mounting bolts.
- Allow 10 minutes to dry before assembly. Then tighten both glued parts by screwing the fixing bolts. The time for bonding the metal parts is 1 hour. Complete drying of the formed gasket occurs in 24 hours.
It is NOT RECOMMENDED TO USE CYLINDER HEAD HEADS FOR CASINGS.
