Academie Derm Acte Pore Minimizing Mattifying Fluid is a lightweight mattifying fluid for oily and combination skin prone to enlarged pores and shine. This formula, containing 2% succinic acid, 1% zinc gluconate, 1% azelaic acid, and 2% mattifying powder, helps control the appearance of excess shine, improves skin smoothness, and minimizes the appearance of pores.
The fluid has a light, non-greasy texture, spreads quickly, and is suitable for regular care of skin with an uneven texture and increased tendency to shine.
The formula is based on succinic acid, zinc gluconate, potassium azeloyl diglycinate, and rice starch. This combination helps make skin visibly more matte and smooth, and enlarged pores less visible.
Succinic acid (2%) complements skincare for imperfections, zinc gluconate (1%) is used in formulas for oily skin, and Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate is a derivative of azelaic acid. Rice starch provides a mattifying effect, absorbing excess sebum and helping reduce unwanted shine.
Despite its mattifying effect, the formula contains squalane and glycerin, which keep the skin soft and hydrated.
