Universal Marseilles Tarot Universal Tarot of Marseille
The Universal Marseilles Tarot, named after the French royal city, where it was first released, takes us to the fascinating world of the original Tarot. These reproductions, with enhanced clarity and bright colors, are designed to breathe new life into historical images that date back to 1751.
Universal Marseilles Tarot is based on the Swiss deck, created in 1751 by Claude Bourdel, retaining its original appearance, but with more natural shading of color. Currently published as a separate deck, and as part of a set with a companion-book published later, written by Lee Bursten.
