Tarot Healer Medicine Woman Tarot
This deck was created by Carol Bridges in honor of Mother Earth. This is a rethinking of the spiritual ideas of American Indians.
The scenes on the maps represent all who live in the hugs of the earth. Mostly we will see female images. But this focus is not on feminism or femininity, but conveys the washed away pictures as the restoration of the feminine energy of healing the Earth. Similarly, it is not related to medicine.
Older Arcana renamed and changed, but the meaning is read traditional.
Each suit of the Younger Arkan tells the story of its “main character”.
Suits renamed: Bowls, Tubes, Arrows, Stones. Energy of the Earth, Water, Fire, Air.
Palace maps changed greatly. From the traditional king, queen, knight, page become Exempler, Lodge, Totem and Apprentice. The student represents the “main character” in the history of this suit, the beginning of the journey, a specific situation. In the Exempler we see the same character, the same situation, but from the position of a more adult one, whose experience is proposed to use. The totem depicts an animal that patronizes the suit, for example, an eagle for pipes. The Lodge is a link between the nascent character in the womb of the queen and the bottom line of the story, the “harvest,” the lesson the story carries. This is an amazingly deep way of seeing palace maps, and is very easy to read in this way. The main thing is to see in them not character traits, but a situation-consequence.
