Kaetana Kaepilling "Retinolovy" 20% - Surface Peeling pH-4.8
Peeling is able to cope with wrinkles of varying degrees of depth, age-related skin changes, scars and post-acne, including very deep and keloid formations
Superficial peeling with median results. Retinol peeling works not only with the epidermis, but also with the middle layers of the skin, however, despite this, it is fairly safe. It is noticed that for many the effect of two-time retinol peeling is equal to the effect of 10 (!) Sessions of glycolic acid peeling.
Diagnosis: mainly for mature skin. For those who are less than 35, retinol peeling will be useful in cases where the skin is present: too bright and saturated pigmentation; pronounced acne scars; first signs of destructive changes in the skin; eels; excessive activity of the sebaceous glands (oily seborrhea).
Ingredients : ethyl alcohol, purified water, retinolic acid 5%, resorcinol 15%.
- Resorcinol is an auxiliary component that performs the function of a catalyst, that is, enhances the action of retinol, has a powerful anti-inflammatory effect.
- Retinolic acid - increases the level of mitotic activity of basal keratinocytes; normalize the processes of differentiation and keratinization in the epidermis; stimulate the synthesis of epidermal lipids; activate the synthesis of the components of the extracellular matrix of the dermis; normalize melanin synthesis.
Successfully fights hyperpigmentation, rejuvenates skin
Important: even among experienced cosmetologists there is confusion: Retinol peels (active ingredient - retinol, or vitamin A) and retinoic, so-called “yellow” (active ingredient - retinoids, for example - retinoic acid) exist. The main difference is the active substance of peeling.
Retinol is unstable and easily destroyed by interaction with oxygen and in the light. Therefore, peels are often used with ready retinoic acid (retinoic peels). However, retinoic acid is more aggressive, the procedure is more traumatic, and post-peeling care is longer. Retinoic peels have more side effects, including burns. Therefore, we preferred Retinol peeling.
“Caetana” - Retinol peeling: Absorbing into the skin, retinol (retinol peeling) turns into retinoic acid, which is deposited in the tissues.
After a sufficient amount of acid has accumulated in the tissues, intensive peeling begins. That is, the skin itself regulates the amount of retinoic acid, which is necessary for it to exfoliate. Thus, chemical burns are excluded. As soon as the concentration of retinoic acid has decreased, the remaining retinol is converted back to acid and the peeling process starts again.
Application:
- Cleansing is carried out in the usual way: "Make-up gel", "Fitopiling", "Cotton Peeling".
- Next is applied retinol peeling itself.
- Minimum exposure time: the product is rubbed (with a cotton swab or gloved hands) for 5 minutes, the skin is dried, then a second layer of peeling is applied (in the same way).
- If necessary, the third layer is also applied. The last layer of peeling is washed off by the client at home, after 10 hours (on average).
The recommended number of procedures: 2-3 procedures once a week with an interval of 2-3 months. Mandatory UV protection of the skin.
Post peeling care:
The skin is restored in 1-2 days. Peeling and redness is, but they are minimal. If we recall that usually the recovery period takes from 5 days to two weeks, the difference is obvious. The main goal of post-peeling care is to restore the barrier function of the epidermis.
- Care products must have antioxidants in their composition, they can be used only in a few days (“Kaemulsiya” is ideal);
- Appeared crusts can not be forcibly removed, and the process of peeling to accelerate;
- For washing you need to use the usual room temperature water;
- When going outside, a mandatory protection measure is applying sunscreen or Milk with SPF-50 in summer and SPF-25 in winter.
- It is necessary to refuse decorative cosmetics within 5-6 days after the procedure; Within 5-7 days after the procedure, it is necessary to apply a “Soothing cream after chemical peels with SPF-15” in the morning and “Very reassuring serum after traumatic procedures” in the evening.
