Hydrogen peroxide is the main active ingredient in oxidizers. When an oxidizing agent is mixed with a dye, it is actively split into oxygen and water and starts the oxidation reaction. Oxygen oxidizes the coloring pigments of the dye, giving them the final cosmetic color. At the same time, oxygen oxidizes the natural pigments of the hair and thus brightens the hair.
Lanolin derivatives (acetylated lanolin alcohol) are often used in hair care products due to their excellent moisturizing and softening properties. They protect the hair and scalp well from the effects of aggressive chemicals (such as ammonia or ammonium persulfate salts) in the process of dyeing, lightening, permanent waving or straightening.
