Tarot Toth Aleister Crowley Aleister Crowley Thoth Tarot
This deck was created by the famous occultist Aleister Crowley (1875 - 1947). Crowley's parents were Quakers and raised religious hatred in their son with their religious fanaticism. Alistair was an outstanding personality. He wrote poetry, climbed the Himalayas, was fond of painting, tantra, yoga; ardently worshiped Nietzsche and hated Christianity. Alistair has created a scandalous image of a cynic and a black magician. Was he really like that? Who knows. In any case, we have an exceptionally interesting phenomenon, and this deck should not be neglected if you seriously decided to engage in TAROT.
The cards are made by the remarkable artist Frida Harris (1877-1962). According to legend, Lady Frieda took an oath with Crowley that for the period of work on TAROT he would refuse any forms of black magic. The illustrations entered by Arthur Wate for all cards of the Minor Arcana caused Crowley's vicious attacks and ridicule. In his deck, he resolutely refused such an approach. Instead, he aligned each map of the Minor Arcana with the position of the planet in the sign of the Zodiac. The meanings that Aleister Crowley attached to his cards are often different from those generally accepted.
Tarot Tot is one of the most popular decks of our time.
The Tarot Tot deck was created in the 40s of the 20th century by Aleister Crowley, who is considered by some to be a black magician, others are recognized as a great initiator. In this deck, named after the ancient Egyptian god of wisdom, Crowley presented all his magical knowledge, and Lady Frida Harris captured them in drawings. The Tarot Tot deck is full of esoteric symbols borrowed from such areas as astrology, numerology, Kabbalah, and oriental mysticism.
